Perfect for students who want to become stronger actors through scene study, acting technique, Improv, theater games, character development, learn the dance basics necessary for musical theater, and prepare for the stage – all in one place! IMPROV TROUPE SATURDAYS: September 21 to May 9

Improv is a theater technique that involves acting without a script in which the plot and characters are devised through spontaneous collaboration and in performance! This program will use the fundamentals of improv to enhance life and leadership skills such as listening, team building, confidence, focus, cooperation, intuition, imagination, eye contact, creativity, commitment... and MORE. Our improv troupes will have regular performances for friends, family, and in the community……possibly even on comedy row in NYC! Teacher: Brooke DeBettignies

6:00 to 7:30PM Grades 3 to 12
A voice over is the voice of an unseen actor speaking (as in a motion picture or television commercial) or of a visible character (as in a motion picture) expressing unspoken thoughts. This V/O class is perfect for someone who has always been interested in voice overs but doesn't really know where to begin. Over the course of ten weeks, you'll learn how to approach various types of voice over copy, learn how to create “reels,” learn about auditions, and much more! Teacher: Bob Carr
HEAD SHOT DAY with Yolanda Perez
9:30AM to 4:00PM All Ages
Top NYC photographer Yolanda Perez shoots for all the major theatrical agents and managers, including the print book for Wilhelmina's Kids' Division, ABC television, The View and more. Come to YouthSong for a mini-shoot for just $225 (plus a $10 registration fee). The shoot consists of hair/make-up styling followed by a digital photo session (approximately 36 shots). You will then receive a link to view and download all images online. This is an incredible opportunity to have industry-quality head shots done at a fraction of what it typically would cost!
